Illustrator Journal #3: T-Box Concept Art

I wanted to bring T-Box more to life by fleshing out his character a bit, with these an illustrative piece and some extra concept designs based on his clothing and the objects around him.

This is just the lineart of the work, but it will be coloured and shaded sometime soon. His world is rather wacky in the sense that it bases off true creative freedom and making impossible things possible. He has no particular age or mortality, he just exists to create the unimaginable and gives the gifts that keep on giving. Nobody knows why he has a Television for a face, but it serves as his way of communicating to us through the use of programmes and video shown upon his screen/face. T-Box’s abilities are muddled on the fine line between magic or just another matter of force.

Sometimes I’m concerned about the image quality after it gets scanned, But what can ya do? I’ll keep trying to improve the artwork quality, so I hope you will all bear with me 🙂 . The first step on an aspiring comic book illustrator is to make his own characters, his own stories, so as I continue to post this journal… More characters and stories will be created and sooner or later, there will be a metamorphosis.

Experimenting: My First Video Timelapse

I am now starting up a YouTube channel in order to connect with a wider audience and gain basic video editing skills, as well as some animation skills. This is my first ever video timelapse and it is of my own character called Sarah-Lee. Granted the video is a tad “fuzzy” at first but I’m working on creating better quality videos. The quality does pick up a bit halfway into the video when I draw darker lines. I hope you enjoy, as there are more videos on the way and this is the reason I haven’t posted recently (up until now). Enjoy!
