Snap crackle and pop,
Carnivorous ricicles,
Delicious crunching.
Now satiated,
A roaring lion’s stomach,
Quelled the appetite.

A roaring lion’s stomach,
Quelled the appetite.
And thus I will shout,
Unbridled emotive force,
You feel the stern depth.
And thus I will shout,
When words aren’t enough alone,
You feel the power.
And thus I will shout,
In my crying ignorance,
You’re tasting the salt.
And thus I will shout,
Because I have to bellow,
Finally noticed.
Questioning morales,
A deepening orifice,
Carnal avarice.
Power emanates,
False projection wither sane,
Maniacal man.
Grease and wrinkled hands,
Slipping with mere paper wealth,
Fashioning a gun.
I’m back in action and off my lazy ass (for reasons secret to myself). Time to get back in the saddle and here’s my next set of haiku poetry. I appreciate comments as feedback and it helps me improve.
Upon happenstance,
Sunlit kissed skin meets the horizon,
Warming and soft glow.
How I met you here,
Unfamiliar green grass,
The fresh seed of life.
Tense locking eyes,
A shy soul’s window opened,
A sweet fragrant heart.
A mere chance meeting,
Yet flowers fall at our feet,
Now I’m waking up.
